Kevin Figes presents an evening of new Arts Council commissioned compositions based on the work of three giants of Italian 20th century music, Ennio Morricone, Luigi Nono and Bruno Maderna.
The orchestra consists of the Bristol Ensemble (strings and woodwind), soloists Brigitte Beraha (voice) and Gaz Williams (electronics) together with many of the South West's leading jazz, rock and contemporary classical musicians. Saxophonist and composer Figes has written and produced for many of his own ensembles, constantly broadening and extending his writing techniques. 'Sound Dimensions' represents a new landmark in this journey.
