GETTING IN:
The Mount Without is located at Upper Church Lane, Bristol, BS2 8FN. It’s a large deconsecrated church, so hard to miss! The most obvious way to get in is to follow the footpath leading from the bottom of St Michael’s Hill. Alternative pedestrian routes, and info on disabled access, are provided on the Mount’s website (https://www.themountwithout.co.uk/faqs)
Our main showcase will take place in the main body of the church, where you’ll find our performance stage and stallholders. When you first arrive at the showcase, please have your ticket ready to show to us at the main church entrance, where we’ll be waiting to welcome you! We will then provide a wristband so that you can access the main event space and basement / bar for the rest of the day.
Our workshops will be shared between the upstairs and downstairs parts of the Mount – we’ll provide further information on these during the event.
GETTING THERE:
WALKING
Navigate yourself towards central Bristol and the vicinity of its main hospital, the BRI. Proceed toward Perry Road and its junction with St Michael’s Hill, next to some traffic lights. Proceed a few metres up St Michael’s Hill – you’ll see a large church on your left, and a footpath leading up to it. Remember the main entrance is at ground level, and you’ll need to check in here to collect your wristband.
BY BUS
Catch one of the numerous services which terminates at Bristol’s Central Coach Station. It’s a 10 minute walk from here to the venue – in the general direction of the BRI (see walking directions above).
BY TRAIN
Bristol Temple Meads is nearest to the venue. If alighting here, you can either walk to the venue directly (around 30 minutes), or catch a bus to the Central Coach Station and walk to the venue from there (10 minutes – see walking directions above).
BY CAR
No parking is available at the venue for guests. The nearest car park is Trenchard Street NCP. After leaving your vehicle, exit on the level you would access the BRI from, onto Park Row. Then walk down Park Row towards the BRI, and follow the walking directions above to the Mount (only 5 minutes!).
